General Description

Excavator final drive delivers the appropriate amount of power to rotate tracks. They consist of two components namely the gear box (which many refer to as the final drive) and the hydraulic motor. And together, they many call it the final drive motor. They are commonly used for excavators ranging from small to Large size of the excavators.

One half is the hydraulic motor which mainly converts the hydraulic energy transferred to your excavator by the main pump to help rotate a group. This spinning group connects with a strong shaft which goes over to the other half namely the final drive gearbox. And through this rotational gear configuration, the final gearbox lessens or controls the speed transferred to the shaft and appropriately amps up the existing torque to spin the hub in which the track sprocket is mounted. This allows the tracks to operate at incredible torque and moving the machine in its meant direction!
